Why won't drum on 70 Series Kenmore Dryer quit turning when Door is opened? [Archive]

I have a 70 Series Kenmore Dyrer & when I open door Drum keeps turning & Dryer will not shut off. Light in Drum will not come on.

If confident on not getting shocked and aware of dangers. Unplug door switch, it may be bad, Does door switch click?
