I have a Maytag plus (model MSD 2556AE) side by side refrigerator unit and it leaks water on the floor when the icemaker calls for water. In the process of turning the water on to the ice maker no water goes in the ice maker instead it leaks out on the floor.

Replace water solenoid valve.
