I am moving out of state and want to sell all kinds of collectibles, furniture, paintings and accessories. I have heard of estate people who come in and give you a price to buy everything leaving your house in "broom sweep" condition after. That's what I need. I live in metro Boston, MA any ideas, contacts or suggestions welcome.

Why not get an auctioneer to come in? That's what happens much of the time when someone is trying to get rid of the contents of a house when someone passes away, so why not do it when you're moving?

Of course the people who buy "house contents" offer you pennies on the dollar of their value, Are you merely wanting to get rid of it.OR actually get somewhere close to its value ?

Hi, lorid!
From what I read, it looks like you're not trying to sell everything, but just a large amount of the contents and that clearing out everything would be ideal, but maybe not necessary.
Would that be correct, please?
Thanks!

Need to sell everything from antique furniture to dishes, towels and sheets.
How do I find someone to purchase full house for estate settlement?
