Today is the day my son is suppose to go to court and accept three felonies. My gut is telling me this is a bad idea for the mere fact that the lawyer has not and will not mention how much time can be involved in this. I am from New York and know that when a plea is entered the sentencing time is also discussed. This crime happened in New York and even though I am paying for the advice of this attorney I don't trust him. What should I tell my son to do

I've NEVER heard of a one way deal like that. Your son pleads guilty but get's NOTHING in return... THAT isn't a deal I'D accept.
