fudge, trust your vets recommendations on recovery and follow everything to the letter. A lot depends on how clean the yard is, the house is, because parvo spreads through feces, saliva and all that may be still be around. Ask questions, insist on answers from your vet, you go there with your parents and absolutely know what you have to do so recovering is absolute.

Yes, please throw out any of your dogs belongings, water, food dishes, beds, toys, clothes, any thing your dog came into contact with. You will need to scub your house clean with bleach and even spot treat your yard. Make sure all feces is cleaned, make sure anything that the pup has come into contact with is wither thrown out, or completely disinfected.

Your vet will know when your pup is on the mend. She will start acting more like a puppy, eating drinking, wanting to get up and get around.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery, and we'd love an update and pics when she gets home! :)

I do want to say that Aurora_Bell posts is excellent. Some things you can't use bleach on you can use lysol an pinesol my vet has told me since I pick his brain for info all I can. Hee Hee! Ok, also might suggest if you were taking tying him or her out front to change to the back yard. Also when wzlking your dog when they go to put nose to the ground give them the commsnd to leave it

As I was saying I would give the command to "leave it" in a very stern voice, when givong leave it command pull the head up from whatever they are sniffing firm but gently. This will avoid them catching things from other dogs. Hope this helps you, also that you an your little one make it through this difficult time! God Bless an Good Luck
