Hi. I am still very young, and I haven't had sex yet, but today when I was in the shower I found a small bump near the opening of my vagina. Because I have never had sex, I am fairly certain that it is not an STD. Still, I'm very scared. The bump is very small, about the size of a small pimple. I shave down there and have experienced razor bumps many times. Could this just be another of those? The bump is small and does not hurt or itch. I've had a wart on my arm before and it looks nothing like that. Please tell me what you think it could be! Thanks!

Almost certainly an ingrown hair or it could even be a pimple! See if you can take a good look at it with a mirror, that will tell you more.

I'm not a doctor or anything but a but of friendly advise from a 23 year old... I get them sometimes - its usually an ingrown hair. As I shave down there all over, quite often - it can sometimes cause the hairs to grow underneath the skin which forms a pimple/spot looking thing. Sometimes it hurts for me and sometimes they don't. Technically I don't think it is wise to shave all the time like I do as its bad for the skin but I do anyway! Waxing is a good option to avoid this to a certain extent.
Like I said - just my opinion! Hope that helps. X
