I have a red eared slider named Holly- she is about two years old and the sweetest turtle ever!:D
I've recently been having trouble with her water.
I change it like clockwork each week. She is in a 20 gallon tank with a Fluval filter good for up to 60 gallons. I clean the filter once a week also. There is no gravel in her tank but she does have a couple rocks and one silk plant. She has a large platform that covers the better half of her tank as well. There is a 40 watt bulb that shines on the platform for 3 hours a day, IF that. She eats most if not all of the food I put in there and her tank gets very green and smelly within 24 hours of changing it! I even tried putting some drops in there but they seemed to make it worse!
What am I doing wrong? How can I fix Holly's house?!

Sounds like it could be algae. Here are some good sites to help you learn more about your turtle and some detailed info on his care.
