I have this horribly painful red bump in my ear. It's made everything around the outer edge of my ear canal bright red and soar. I can't sleep on it. I've tried lancing it because I thought it might be a boil, nope. Nothing came out except the smallest amount of blood. I had to push the needle in farther than I thought to be able to accomplish just that. I've tried popping it, to no avail. It's keeping me awake. What should I do? What is it?

I realize your motto is Live fast, die young - however, if that isn't the actual plan I'd go to a Doctor before you develop blood poisoning from the poking and pushing and attempting to pop whatever it is.
You need to see a Physician.

First of the user name is a joke and a nod to a Die Hard movie, secondly I use a clean needle. It's been sterilized so no worries there. If I could afford to go see a physician, don't you think I would have instead of posting my ailments on here?

I have no idea what you or anyone else would do. I only know what you asked and what I answered. Unless you have an autoclave in your house I would suggest you stop poking/pushing/stabbing whatever it is.
I know what the quote is from - I just find it to be philosophy when you use it as a screen name.

I'm sure boiling my needle is fine. Autoclaves are great, 250 for the water's heat, but I think 212 will do just fine thanks. Also, if you're going to give someone advice, don't take a stab at the user name. It's rude. I don't see how you could have found it as a philosophy at all, you were just judging for no reason.
