Hi I'm 29 years old,I noticed spontaneous bleeding after intercource,that was 10 day ahead of my period,it was only few seconds and both of us felt sharp pain during intercource.what could be the cause please help.

If it was fresh blood you saw after intercourse, then its probably because you are not lubricated enough and this is causing abrasion on your vaginal wall and it really doesn't take much to see a little blood. Not unusual. I don't know what the sharp pain would be for both of you, that is weird to say the least.

You can't just dive into intercourse without being properly lubricated. It causes problems.

Use KY jelly or astroglide to lubricate before have intercourse; this will help and is very pleasurable. You will both enjoy the experience.

Sounds like a cervical issue to me. When was the last time you had a PAP smear?

Was the sex rough in nature?

The cervix is highly vascular and when manipulated with either fingers or penis a little too harshly, it tends to bleed.
