I hope this is the right place to ask since there is no Clothing forum under Home & Garden.
I know that I should lay flat to dry to prevent streching. But what about the washing?
I use the low spin setting and it still comes out an inch streched after a month or two (maybe three) of washing.
Tips anyone?

Try washing it in cold water for a while. It always works for me.

I would try handwashing it in a sink of cold water, for the material could get irritated a little in the washer. Just my opinion, but hope it helps. :-)
