I recently got a Canon BJC-2100 but it has nothing with it, no cables, nothing. What kind of cables do I need? And what kind of ink cartridges does it take? I looked on the Canon site but it gave me a couple different numbers for ink. Alsp will it work with OS Windows XP? It said on the site for 95/98/2000 and NT.

At the time of this posting, Canon's web site seems to be down which is the authority for information and drivers for this printer. The Quick Start guide which I found on the web and attached to this post indicates it supports either USB or Parallel port connectivity. For USB, a standard USB A-B cable of desired length should suffice (shorter better). For parallel, a standard IEEE 1284 printer cable will likely work, however it also depends on what type of parallel port your computer has if it has one at all.
Once working again, Canon's web site is the source for XP drivers. If the site does not have XP specific drivers, Windows XP includes a driver for this printer and the printer may be installed through the Control Panel > Printers & Faxes > Add Printer. A Canon supplied Windows 2000 printer driver would also probably work. Also note that a Canon supplied driver may be required for USB connectivity.
The Quick Start Guide also indicates it uses a BJ-21e ink cartridge. The others you found listed on Canon's site may have been special purpose cartridges such as for high-capacity or photo printing.
