Now that's a twist. You are a married man in Canada, but you cannot divorce your wife (for some reason), so you want to adopt a female adult, bring her to Canada, therefore having essentially a second wife.

I see you have not adapted very well to Canadian culture.

You cannot defraud Immigration, number one. I have never heard of any Canadian process where you can 'adopt' an adult. Nor have I ever heard of any Canadian being allowed to have more than one wife.

You cannot have your cake and eat it too, which means you cannot have a legal marriage in Canada, and then bring another adult female into Canada via 'adoption', because you think girls 'are really nice', and they will 'adjust in your home'.

I find your post offensive to both the ways of this land, and the way you regard women.

If you want another woman in your life, divorce your wife, then do what you want. Divorcing one wife before having another, is what Canadian requires.

Adopting a 20 year old to fill in as one, won't wash.
