I HAVE A AO SMITH AIR COND. PUTTING ON A GE FAN MOTOR. THERE WIRES ARE PURPLE,BROWN,BLACK COMING FROM INSIDE THE AIR COND UNIT. Or that's yours and there's are black yellow brown brown and white and yellow green ground.How do I attach wire .

Use the wiring diagram that came with the new motor. Those diagrams are required to be placed on the side of the motor itself OR on a instruction sheet that came with the motor. Also replace the motor run capacitor whenever you replace the old one.
