We smelled gas yesterday in our home and had the gas company come out and check everything. They found a few leaks in the house-one small one by the water heater (which we replaced today) and by the oven (which we also replaced today) and also in the gas line to our fireplace which we had our local contractor fix today. The problem is that today, while we were eating dinner, we smelled gas again-it was coming from the air conditioning vent in the kitchen. Why would this happen after the gas company checked the whole house?

It happens because there is probably another leak that they missed. Call them back.
