I had a baby on 6th dec 2009 it was a long painful vaginal delivery suffered 2nd degree tear(baby was sunny side up had an episiotomy and baby was sucked with a vacuum) ),my perineum still hurts when pressed or I sit in squatting position. I'm nursing my baby period returned on 28th April 2010 which was heavier than it used to be with lot of pain lasted for 7 days in may period started on 22nd it was light and brownish most of the days ended in 7 days then in June I started having spotting on 17th continued till 22nd it was light/heavy red /brown occasionally then on 23rd proper period started ended on 3rd now on 15th July I'm again having red spotting.Is it normal to have such irragular periods once they start or is there something wrong?

Normally after having a baby the periods can be slightly irregular, however to find out for certain then you need to go see your doctor, only a doctor can give you an accurate diagnosis.

Also with breast feeding this too could be a factor, but you should go to your doctor.
