The decorative cap that covers the access to the diverter, and sits at the base of the handle of our 7 yr. old chrome faucet, has a broken tab that helps it seat firmly. Without the tab the only way to keep the thing on is to glue it. That is only temporary and doesn't look too nice either. Where can I get a replacement without buying a new faucet? Thanks.

Take off the handle, remove the plate and see if you can match at Lowe's or HD.

Moen warranties all parts for a lifetime. Call 1800BUYMOEN and chat with them... should know what part you need. Tell them the tab broke and you want a replacement. They may need you to email a picture... worst case, but after that they will mail the part to you at no cost... includes shipping... ;)

Let us know how you make out...
