View Full Version : How do I get USPS to stop messing up my mail?

We recently switched mail men and ever since he started delivering our mail, the service has been inconsistent. Not only do we keep getting our neighbor's mail (which hopefully will resolve itself) but people who are mailing to us keep getting returned mail that says 'Cannot deliver to address'. I've verified the address they used with ours and it's correct. This is sort of a pain to deal with, but should I go into the nearest USPS branch and tell them? Will they care or be able to handle it? Or should I file a request of sorts on-line or over the phone?

PS I am appreciative of the public service though.

You can call usps to have this problem figured out

You have the people send you the letters that could not be delivered, you go to the local post master and file a complaint.

But you just expect the mail in the wrong mail box to get fixed, When I lived in Sparta TN, it happened all the time for the 5 years I lived there.

I have lived in Mableton Ga now for over a year, and I always get wrong mail almost every week.

So expecting it to improve may be wishful thinking

Contact the USPS directly to try and straighten it out.
