I live in Miami, Florida and must get rid of lizards in my garage. They are making holes in the walls and getting inside the walls. Who knows what destruction they are causing in there. Also, the garage walls are full of their discharge.
A cat is no option, I am allergic to them.

What kind of lizards are they?

Most reptiles respond best to repellants, primarily because of odor. The commercially available repellants all seem to use napthalene (mothball crystals) as their main ingredient. If you have allergies this may not be much help.

One East Asian homeowner of my acquaintance swears that their lizard problem (like yours in a garage where odors can accumulate) was solved by an accidental spill of paprika. They buy from oriental foodstores in large quantities, so the spill could have been a couple of pounds. You might invest in a couple of cans and sprinkle it around the walls of the garage to see if that will work for you.
