I have a gateway laptop computer I reinstalled windows xp on it. I had a friend install a belkin wireless internet on it.I had to go into the hospital for a while and took the laptop with me.it quit working when I got home.I use to have att wireless and would like to get it back.can anybody please help me as I'm going back into the hospital and I would like to keep in touch with my wife via Facebook thank you

So your home or area has a wireless router, right? Are you sure it is working? I'd take it to a coffee shop or other place offering free wifi and see if it works there before trying anything else
