Poem Text ( First and last paragraph of this poem).

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Would anyone translate this in simple English PLEASE!
It is NOT homework.
I would just like to understand it.

Roland.

Hi, ROLCAM!

There's lots of information about it that can be found on the following site.

Jabberwocky - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jabberwocky)

It's basically up to the imagination of the reader as to what some of the words mean.

Thanks!

Jabberwocky was kind of meant to be nonsensical and weird... I don't think there's a good "English" translation.

I always loved this part in Through the Looking Glass...
