View Full Version : Can I See Ghosts Or Is It Just My Imagination?

Ok. So, I'm in Russia on vacation and my Aunt, little bro, and I were on our way to the park and I had to throw away the trash, but on my way to the dumpster I saw a man sitting there and smoking. I saw him clear as day but when I looked away and looked back he was gone and wasn't anywhere. I didn't even look away the long maybe a few seconds. Then maybe a month before I left I was on my way to my great aunts house. I saw a dog sitting on the side of the road and then it just disappeared right in front of me. Another time on our way to church we were driving past a field and I saw a horse and foal I said "Grammy look at the horse and foal" when she looked there wasn't anything there. Am I insane? I mostly see animals but occasionally I see people. Like I was in the grocery store and there was an elderly woman in the isle and I moved the buggy around her and my mom asked why I was swerving around empty air. It was weird because my mom walked right through the old woman to get to the cheese without feeling anything. Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on??

Hi, CallofDutyQueen100!
Did it ever occur to you that what you've seen might not be the ghosts of beings that are dead, but something else, please?
Thanks!

What do you mean? I know what I saw. I'm not saying it's a ghost I was wondering because this has happened a lot. In my room when no one has been in there all day and neither have I placed my mp3 player on the table and hadn't moved it and it got lost for about a month then it showed up in the same place AFTER A MONTH! I swear to God it wasn't there or anywhere else. But anyway 2 seconds isn't enough for any NORMAL human being to go anywhere out of sight. But what do you mean by "might not be the ghosts of beings that are dead,"

There could be some medical explanations. Depending on your vision / eye health, its possible you can have debris in your eye known as floaters that can be shaped like things, and you'll think you see a ghost or flash of something/someone. Its also possible you may have hallucinations of some kind for a variety of reasons (lack of sleep, etc).

You could also possibly be seeing shadow people. Shadow People - What you need to know about Shadow People (http://paranormal.about.com/od/trueghoststories/a/shadow-people.htm)

That's part of what I was going to be getting at, N0help4u!
I think that you and I are probably on the "same page" on a number of different things!
Thanks!

I see things too, occasionally. Not really sure what it is sometimes...

I saw a white cat a few times about a year ago in my house. It would jump down off something and never land. I don't have a white cat.

I have no way of proving it, but I've seen cats a number of times in my home where none was physically at the time. My daughter who is 30 has mentioned seeing the same sort of things.
I've owned cats all of my life...
Projection, perhaps?

Yeah except the man I saw wasn't shadowy at all. I could clearly see him straight on and I can describe him perfectly too.
He was a man around his 30's maybe. He was wearing a gray suit with a red tie with small diagonal golden stripes on it and his dress shirt was a yellowish color
But, looking back at that moment I realise and important detail I missed: When I was walking back from the dumpster (the same direction I came in) I noticed a guy around 17 or 18 with the same hair as the first "man" with a small scruffy beard and a graphic t-shirt that was yellow. (I couldn't have seen him walking to the dumpster though. So, I have no clue weather they are connected some how or not. Also both of them were smoking when I saw them
