Was Resident Evil a video game before a movie or the other way around? I ask this because Resident Evil 4 isn't out yet but there has been a video game of it our for years. So, someone please answer. THANKS! :D

Um I pretty sure it was a video game first because I remember the game going back into the late 90's and the latest resident evil movie was I think someware in the 2001 2002 regin
