After about ten minutes of running, my headlight will go off without warning. Have to shut off for a few minutes then it will come back on, only too go off again at some undisclosed time. Need help

What type of car is this on? In some cars and jeeps if you turn off the headlights after the ignition is off the lights stay on for 10 minutes. Its possible if yours does that you have either a disconnect somewhere or the stitch itself is bad. Only operating in AUX mode.

. Check/replace the combination light switch, if the problem persists. Combination switches can often be disassembled, serviced, and reinstalled.

Well Curly, If you were to say you have a vehicle with HID (high intensity discharge) headlights I think I have some answers for you. But we need to know more about your vehicle. Could you help us to help you??

If it's a standard headlights with thermal breakers, I've had the headlights blink while I was going down the road. One bulb shorted rather than opened.
