I just got a 7 mon. old Husky puppy and I have had huskies before so I know that normally they have a lot of energy and love to run and play, but this one only played with my other puppy last night and today she is just laying around and being very lazy. And no she hasn't had diarrhea or vomited or show any signs of being sick. Could it be that she is just the first calm husky I have seen? Let me know if you have a similar husky or know of other dogs like this.

Did you just get the pup? If so, she may just be a bit stressed from the change in environment.

We need a little more background...
Did the puppy live with the breeder for the first 7 months of it's life?
Is it a rescue dog?
MOST puppies will be a little reserved for up to a week arriving in their new home.

I got my husky from a breeder when he was 13 weeks old. We brought him home and we have had him for about 4 weeks and he is still co calm. He refuses to come out of his cage unless he is eating or going out to the bathroom. I have been trying to figure out why he acts the way he does and cannot figure it out.

Hi Tiffany, if you start your own thread, you will get more responses. This one is pretty old, and there for not as many people will see it.
Thanks :)
