I have a Lawn King Self-Propelled Rotary Mower with an electric start, model # 961470010. My son-in-law had to move the mower and didn't notice the battery charger was plugged in. The wires from the battery charger simply pulled out of the quick connector of the charger side. My problem is which wires go to together when I install a new connector. From the transformer to the quick connect the wires are solid black and black with a white stripe. Going from the connection to the battery they are solid red and solid black. I would assume the two solid black would mate and the red would mate with the back with the white stripe. But that assumption could get me a ruined battery if I'm wrong. Could you help?

Does the charger (Wall wort) have any specs on it such as Output in AC or DC volts?

You MAY have to invest in a cheap multimeter to sort this out.
