For the past year or so, we've been losing water pressure in our home. A new well was installed before we purchased our home in September of 2001. Water is nearing a trickle in all faucets. We installed a new bathroom in June of 2009, putting in a new sink and toilet. We had a plumber here who put in a shut off valve in the basement that goes only with the bathroom so we could turn off the water there without shutting down the entire house. We used to be able to take a shower and run water in the kitchen sink at the same time but now when a faucet is turned on anywhere in the house, all other faucets are reduced to a trickle until the other faucet is turned off/toilet quits running etc. Not sure where to start with this one. Unfortunately, I am not a handy man when it comes to plumbing. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. PC

Paul k, more info is needed, how deeps the well, what kind of pump, and piping is used, do you have a water conditioner? Do you have pressure at the pump house?

Biggest thing we need to know is this: What is your pressure gauge at the pressure tank reading?

Unscrew and clean Aerators at each faucet. Also, remove shower heads and clean filter screens... See if flow improves... Back to you... Milo
