I have a lexmark printer x2580 that I installed in my Accer Vista but when I need to print it says "save" xps. It doesn't print the doc. I tried to save it but it is really strange. Is it maybe a problem with my computer? Why save it?

Is the Lexmark the default printer? It sounds like your default is set to "Microsoft XPS Document Writer". Try going to Control Panel->Printers, right-click on the Lexmark, and select "Set as Default Printer".

I'm not quite sure what you mean in your response, but I would go suggest going through the following procedure:

Uninstall the Lexmark printer driver

Download the Lexmark printer driver
Pick the proper driver here. (http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=answers&startover=y&locale=en&userlocale=EN_US&productCode=LEXMARK_X2580&segment=DOWNLOAD&question=drivers#1)
Re-install the Lexmark printer driver
Use this (http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&segment=SUPPORT&locale=en&userlocale=EN_US&id=HO44&productCode=LEXMARK_X2580&actp=TOP_DOCS) procedure.


Be sure to follow the instructions exactly regarding when the USB cable is to be plugged in, as I've found it is pretty unforgiving if you don't.
