The magnatron tube is dead. Throw it out and either use your stove or get another radiation machine. I threw my microwave out 3 years ago and my health is much better. My joints don't hurt any longer. Microwaves literally radiate your food or water as in a cup of water for coffee, etc. and that is no good for you. How would you like a cup of nuclear reactor water straight from a nuclear reactor? Well, that's what you are doing when you are drinking or eating anything "nuked" in a microwave. Be thankful that your machine dropped dead. Don't replace it. (At least that's my advice/opinion on this). Do yourself a favor and look up the adverse effects of microwaves. You'll curl your hair literally while you read up on just how dangerous these machines really are. P.S. They are banned in Russia due to the radiation they emit and what the radiation does to the food inside the machine.

I know this is an old post reply but Microwave radiation is non ionizing and nuclear radiation is ionizing, no comparison to "drinking from a reactor". MW radiation only causes the water molecules to boil. If we get rid of microwave radiation, no cell phones, dish network, radar, etc.
