Well, first I'm going to start by saying I'm not originally from America, I came here in 1999 and by the time I learned english I was already way behind. In high school I had hopes of catching up, however my grandma got sick and I had to take care of her since my grandpa was sick as well, my dad was an only parent working everyday to take care of us, things got worst and in 11th grade my grandma died, we had to take her back to our country for a funeral which made me miss 1 month of school. Anyway I had a really screwed up high school life and my grades aren't all that great. But after watching all of the doctors and surgeons, I want to become one myself. My classes are pretty low, but my mind is set on becoming a surgeon, any suggestions on what I should do? So far all I can think of is going to community college then transferring
