My name is dave and am a u.s citizen who has applied for a fiancé visa for A girl called Annaliza Barotag. Unfortunately I have never met in person this youg lady.The problem is I have had a stroke and am advised not to fly .being so difficult to reason with my application which was denied it did not have all the criteria of hardship . Now a second atemt is in the works which will be denied . Our relationship which you must question has been sucsefull due to a web cam and the telephone . She can get a visa for vacation and merely come visit you, like you were going to visit her, that is not hard at all. It would not allow her to stay, but should meet the requirements that require the two people to meet in person.

I don't know. Is what you're saying, in order for people in the world to come to the US for a vacation, we require that they own land here first?? I don't think we do that. It would hurt tourisim.

I would look into it a little further. Maybe you should consider consulting with an immigration attorney.

Due to overwhelming/ increasing numbers of overstaying and fraud, US immigration is very very very strict to Filipinos and requires Tourist Visa applicant to present evidence that the applicant doesn't have an intention to abandon the country when he/she visits US: Among are certificate of (current) employment, land title, car title, business after the person's name and other properties... also money to support his stay in the US. Showing this evidence will tie the person that he/she still has obligation to the homeland and can't afford to just leave.
