My ex is has just given birth to what I believe to be my first child but she is saying that there is no chance of me being the father. First she tells me she had a one night stand with an ex and it might not be mine. Now the baby is born and she is back with a different ex and is saying that she had been sleeping with him the whole time we were together and there is no possibility of me being the father even though we were sleeping together at the time. It seems to me like she just wants me out of her life so as not to complicate things with her now boyfriend and be a proper family or whatever. I really need some advice on what to do. Even though the situations not ideal I'd still like to be in my daughters life if she is mine. I'm not on the birth certificate and don't know whether her current boyfriend is or not. She is also refusing a DNA test.

I moved your question to family law,as I think it is a legal question as regards obtaining a DNA test.

You're right - you go to Court and demand DNA testing. She cannot refuse.

If you are the father support will be set up as will visitation.
