I'm 17years old and I recently found out that my mom is going out with a guy that when I met him, he was married, apperently he got divorce 3weeks after he met my mom and they started going out. My mom is been divorced since I was 6, she got pregnant and she has my little sister that's only 3years old. I thought my mom was a faithful christian until these events started happening, now she leaves and comes back at 3am and I have to babysit my little sis. I'm tired of my mom not caring about us, she kept telling me that she's doing this for us but I don't see how someone with the right values can see this as something right. If she wanted to do things right she should've send that guy to counseling with his wife enstead of getting him divorce to go out with him... I want to leave the house as soon as I can but I don't want to leave my sis. My mom knows I'm a faithful girl and she takes advantage of that she use to make fun of me.. :(.. But know ahe keeps saying that God is with her for a new life.. I don't even like the guy and I'm sure God wouldn't be OK with destroying a family... I need help I don't know what to do

Perhaps you don't know the full story concerning this man divorce, could it be possible that he tried to save his marriage but it failed anyway,I know that I was separated for a few years before my divorce was granted.

Sit down with your mother and talk to her, without accusing her,and tell her your concerns.

Ask if she could limit her nights out and stay home more often.

Perhaps she is in love and is at the moment caught up in the rush that comes with it,its no excuse for not being at home, but its understandable.

Your old enough to know what's going on as it concerns you,be adult in your dealings with her,and keep the lines of communication open.
