Thought I had a carb problem since bike was stalling when coming to a stop. Here's what I found. With bike at idle and ignition switch in the headlight ON position,I pulled brake lever. Brake Light came on and motor cut off. Same results if I turned on either turn signal. I'm thinking short some where. Any help with where and how to start troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.
Forgot to mention I just had LED effects lighting installed on the bike. New battery and voltage regulator also.Bike is a custom build softail with a 94' EVO motor and trans.

Sounds like a bad wiring job. Likely tied onto wrong wires, how are the lights switched, with headlight, separate switch.
Follow all wire associated with the new system, remove momentarily for testing. If you can tell model may be able to help with wire colors.

Solid advice. Thanks for taking the time to respond. The install of the LEDs was done by a reputable mechanic. I had no problems for a couple months since the install. This is a new issue that just started.
My ride is a custom build based around a '94 EVO motor and trans. A mix of stock and aftermarket and custom parts. Not sure if the wire harness is stock though. I'll start where you said and go from there. I do know which are turn signal wires. Will just to my best till my mechanic gets back from vacation. Just did my first wrenching by rebuilding my starter motors clutch. Who knows, mabye I can handle some wiring troubleshooting too.
Thanks again.
