I have a craftsman lawn tractor with a 22 hp v twin kohler engine, my trouble started last year when I had trouble cranking my tractor. Thought I had found problem solved has run fine till just a couple weeks ago. I was back to having to jump tractor off but would run fine afterwards. Just this week jumped tractor off and ran for a while then shut off found that fuse was blown replaced fuse and jumped off again. This time fuse blew right away, as long as parking brake is pushed tractor runs fine once brake is released it dies or if mower deck is engaged. I feel there is a electrical problem again just don't know where to start looking this time. Any help would be appriciated.

A switch is shorting out, My guess is the key switch based on your description of what has and is happening.
