Well I got a kitten he's 12 weeks and he's so hyper were to the point that we might get rid of him but we love him too what can I do can I get him neurdered?

He can be neutered at six months. All kittens are hyper, alex, give him plenty to play with, tire him out and you will find that makes a big difference. Also what he is fed has a lot to do with how hyper he is. He must be sleeping a lot and growing at the same time, yes ? How would you get rid of him? I don't like the sound of that.

Like tickle said, giving him things to play with will help get rid of some of the excess energy.

You'll have to call vets in your area to find out how young they'll fix an animal. Some vets will fix younger animals, while others insist on waiting until they fully mature.

He could technically get neutered now yes, but many clinics will not do it until the cat is about 5 months old.
Are you playing with him? Please realise that this is a kitten and being a little nuts and very playful is what kittens do, surely you knew that?
