When I turn on the AC and being on AUTO. For like 2 minutes its on for awhile then turns off. Its like that for 2 minutes. Then after the 2 minutes it stays on and won't stop. Any ideas what could be wrong with it. PLEASE HELP

How old? Does it have a circuit board? Or does it have a fan center? How about model number,, have to guess it's a gas furnace or a electric furnace, maybe a oil furnace?
