We are interested in adopting a retired service dog. We have a very nice home and would love to care for a special dog that has served someone special. Could you tell me who or how to get in touch with the right people for this type of adoption. We live in Wichita, KS. Is there any place close to here? My email address is >Removed<... Thank you for your help. Ph. # >Removed< if you prefer to call. Thank you again! Karla B

It is foolish and dangerous to post your phone number.

You might want to contact some of these folks:

We do discourage personal offsite contact information for your protection. Anyone wishing to contact you can send an email via the site and leave the decision of providing your address up to you.

I found this link, and from what I can tell it is based out of Witicha. But it looks like it is more of a rescue foundation, opposed to retireds service dogs.
