I made out my deposit slip and was depositing 2 checks, one for $396.92 and the other for $200.00. Total checks was $596.92, I filled out my deposit slip and had $100.00 less cash received. So tatol deposit was $496.92.. Received my little deposit slip from the bank showing a deposit of $496.92 and along with that was my $100.00 cash. 4 days later I received a note in the mail from the bank that they were going to charge my account $200 because they said that I received $300.00 cash back. I took all this up to the bank and tried staightened it out. They first told me that the ledger was off and they credited my account back the $200.00 later on that day they called me to tell me that the ladied ledger did balance that day and they were going to take the $200.00 back out of my account. I have all the proof from the depoist slip they gave me. There is $200.00 floating around that I don't have but am being punished for it. Is there anything else I can do?

Contact the manager of the bank and set up an appointmernt. Show your evidence, ask him for an explanation. If he still won't crediyt your account tell him you will sue them in small claims court and present the same evidence if they do not credit your account.

1. change banks next payday,
2. sue them if they do not credit your account.
