Hello,

I need to run a new air duct from my furnace (forced air, 90%) system to a bathroom. There was an existing pipe going to the bathroom, but I had to cut the pipe in order to expand the bathroom. Now I am ready to re-run the duct to the new bathroom and I have two questions. Oh, the bathroom is about 10 feet away from the furnace and the old pipe is still sticking out of main duct.

1. I can't run a straight pipe, so there needs to be a few bends. Is there some sort of flex pipe that I can purchase and use?

2. I don't think there is enough space for a "normal" size register where I plan on running the pipe. Do they make smaller size registers? Say, like 4 inch by whatever? I am very limited to where the register will be going in the wall.

The bathroom needs a heat. A smaller register will restrict the amount of heat needed in the bath. You can buy elbos for the size pipe you have.

You can also buy 6" flex duct in 25' rolls. A 4" X 10" / 12" register would be fine in the bathroom.

Yes, they do... You will also need to get a roll of "Silver Tape" to secure and seal the inner sleeve to the duct. They have that as well... Large zip ties work for securing the outer insulation. Looks like this:
