Hi
Iam making ared wine from a kit I bought. Chitosan packet is missing from the kit. Can I continue without this
Please help

Yes, you need chitosan, it clear the wine, refines it. It is added at the end I believe, so you may not need it right away, but you do need it. If you Google the name, you will find many websites explaining what chitosan does and how it is added.

Chitosan is what helps remove floaties from the wine. It clarifies it. I believe Tick is correct, that it is added late in the brewing process. A friend of mine makes his own and always uses it... for both red and white wines.
