I am definitely a night owl, and lately the only time of day I feel motivated and energetic enough to work out is around 12am, 1am, 2am, 3am. Is this normal? And if so, would it be OK for me to work out around those times?

You can workout at any time. Whenever you can bring energy and intensity to your workout is the best time.
I would try not to workout immediately before you go to bed, but other than that, do it when it suits you.

I am wired like the OP'er...
I am most focused later at night. I like some isolation when working out.
That said... the benefits of working out early in the day are clear.
The early workout "checks it off the list"... so there is no "ill do it later" until there is no later and it doesn't get done.
Also, an early workout primes your metabolism for the front side of the day... and if you couple this with your bigger meals on the front side, you'll likely see some weight loss and/or change in body composition tied to that early workout.
But...
All that said...
If you can do a late workout and get good, restful sleep... its better than nada.

If it works for you, then it is normal for you, I used to work nights, just loved it.
Just wondering when you sleep ? And how much sleep you get.
Hard to be up at 3 working out, when you get up at 5 or 6 am to go to work

Well usually I work out around 1ish 2ish not often do I work out at 3 but it has happened. I usually go to sleep right after, and I have no problem going right to sleep. And I usually get up at around 7:30.

As others have said, work out when it suits you, but keep watch on your amount of sleep as well. Getting adequate sleep, especially if you work out a good deal, is just as important for your overall health and condition.

Mmm.. Definitely an unusual time to workout. But if you are getting your sleep and eating correctly I don't think you have a problem.

Hmmm This is unusual situation. I used to have a workout schedule were I would lift before lunch and go for a eh 4-5 mile run in the evening. I enjoyed it more but exercising in the morning was much more beneficial to my metabolism
