About six 1/2 years ago we were approached to take in 2 of my husbands cousins kids the father which is my husbands cousin committed suicide mother was a alcoholic and drug abuser, DCFS stepped in took kids was placing them in foster care so ,that's when we got the call from another relative to help out ,so to make a long story short we took in the 2 boys and I am sorry to say was the worst thing we ever did we ended up finding a another home for the other oldest boy because he would just not follow the rules of our household, the youngest boy has been with us a little longer , We have had him in three hospitals in the last 8 months he is bipolar will not take his med and is very dissrespectfull, destructive, keeps running away when things do not go his way , rite now is in jdc because of domestic battery against my daughter and drug parraphanalia, Have been in touch with dcfs said for us to get atty and go to court and the judge will take him on a dependency case but do not understand what that means and do not want to be blackballed because we can't handle him anymore , I have to grandaughters and do not want to take the chance that if god forbid something would happen to one of my daughters that I would not be able to care for them if I should need to, Please help do not know what to do ?

Blackballed from what ? Getting other kids from DCFS?

You were told what you have to do, if you need him out then follow it

We were told that if it goes on dependency case that if we have to have a background check that it would show up as a open dcfs case and I do not want that , we are not to blame in this situation
