Just a quick question.

Nothing, not even a click, right? 12.89 amps or DC Volts? Are you testing between the battery terminals? Try testing by grounding one lead and put the other lead on the power feed to the ignition switch, still get power? Now try moving that lead from the feed to the terminal feeding out to the starter, turn the key, still get power?
