Im 14, turning 15 in 3 months and my boyfriend is 17, turning 18 in 7 months.
We have had sex many times, but are using protection every time.
Is this legal?

since you failed to post this in the legal section, and posted it in the teen section, I'm going to give you teen advice before I ask that it be moved to the legal boards for our legal experts.
are you ready for a child? Because that's what happens a lot of times, sex=babies. Even when using multiple forms of protection properly, there is still always some chance of becoming pregnant. You should count yourself lucky so far.
and what about STDs? Have you both been tested?
and what is this guy even doing with you? He's nearly an adult and should be nearing graduation and you what, just started high school? At this point, 3 years is a pretty big age gap. Do your parents know?

I have moved it to the legal forum, don't worry "JUST" your answer is fine.
No it is not legal, at this point the 17 year old could be tried as either a juv or a adult, but would go and be locked up either way.
They would also be a registered sex offender the rest of their life. **** what a great way to say I love you, lets have sex and make you a criminal.
But on the bright side, I am sure that bubba in the jail needs a new girlfriend when your boyfriend gets locked up, young boys who do sat. rape are favorites.

There are very few areas where the age of consent is less than 16. Without knowing where you are, we can't tell the specific law. But there is a strong likelihood that your boyfriend could wind up in jail. You need to stop trying to be an adult and return to being a teen. No form is protection is 100%. You are risking your life and his future by having sex.
