Percentage increase is given by the increase divided by the initial value, times 100%.
Example
I eat 10 apples in a month. Now, I decide to eat 15 apples in a month.
The increase is 15-10 = 5 apples
The percentage increase is = \frac{5}{10} \times 100% = 50%
Now, do it with your problem and post your answer. :)

It's all good, no worries, you can continue telling people that they shouldn't post their homework, which is good. :)
I try to help by giving examples instead of the actual answers, except in exceptional cases ;)
