I am trying to evict someone from my house, who has not paid anything for approx. one year. We had a verbal agreement that she would move in and help me when I am sick as I have cancer. I have since moved out of my home to bunk with friends, she has verbally threatened me, I have changed my bedroom lock and she has broken it and is sleeping in my room. She served with 10 day eviction notice and claims she wasn't served.the post office is not helpful, the postal carrier (new) didn't follow procedure on certified deliveries. But I have the routing number,& my copy of eviction notice. This person is violent, unpredictable and just plain nasty. My house looks like a crack house, totally trashed. She has said to me "you better not try to kick me out of your house, or you will be sorry". Please help!!

If she ignored a 10 vacate notice, you file for an eviction in court. You then hire a process server to serve her notice of the eviction hearing.
