Ok so my daughter has lived with only me since she was 8 months old because we left because her father was seeing another woman and was never ever home. He tells people I do not let him see her but that is not true the problem is that he rarely ever calls topick her up. I do allow though if he calls. The only thing I say is that she can not stay overnight (the reason being is because when we did live togethor he would pick up his other daughter and bring her to me and then leave, and he has had a history of doing this with whomever he is seeing and I feel if she is not with him than she should be with me). He has given me money to help with daycare but not much and basically the only reason he does this is because child support would enforce more so it's more for his benefit. Well I am now going for child support because we are struggling and he has money for brand new cars and vacations and what not and I feel after 2 years almost I have just been nice long enough and my daughter deserves more. He threatened me though that if I do go for child support he will take me for joint custody?? Is a judge going to let this happen?? I don't refuse him the right to see her, but to take her out of my care half the time when I am the one who has been taking care of her , her whole life is a judge really going to let this happen??

Right now I am thinking about leaving the state for a job also. It is a great opportunity for us. Is a judge going to say no to this?
