Well today I received a letter saying I need to pay 10,000 dollars to a lawfirm or be sued in half of a big bank aka wellsfargo. Ive tried talking to the banks since last year when I started falling behind explaining I couldn't make the payments because my hours were getting cut back and I had four kids to feed and make sure had a roof over their heads. Well now its 5 kids my hours well are gone because now I'm unemployed and I'm about to be sued. How can I pay that, I've explained to bank and lawfirm I have no job but would be able to meet them half ways and pay 5000 in August to close the debt but nope no dice. I have a mortgage from previous marriage I don't want but can't sell the house with of course the same bank and a car I'm upside down on. What can I do am I going to lose everything.

Have you considered Bankruptcy? If you have a lot of debt that may be the way to go.talk to an attorney and see what they advise.

Some bk attorneys will let you make payments but the actual filing will not take place until you have paid the total fee. So that may be an option talk to a bk attorney and see what they say
