The unit worked all day yesterday. I went to set the temp for the evening while I slept, and the thermostat would lower the temp, but the words "cool on" just blinked and never stopped, the unit never would turn on. Any ideas?

Try turning off the power to furnace/airhandler for a few minutes and turn back on, sometimes this will reset the tstat
