After the cycles, my dish washer has water about 1 inch deep in the base, couls I use draino on this issue or should I take another route?

1. When was the last time you cleaned Dishwasher strainer ?
2. Did you check Dishwasher discharge hose for kinks ?
3. Is your Dishwasher discharge hose clogged with food particles ?
4. How far is Dishwasher from the Sink ?
5. Is Dishwasher connected directly to the sink, or to Garbage Disposer, or to Air Gap?
